Launching in June 2021, The Kitsch Collection from The Neighbourhood Threat marks a new phase of bold and bright design. The 14-piece collection includes six bone china mugs, each saturated in shades of pink, orange and green, splashed in surreal imagery and unmissable style. Designs include a tiger stalking a stylised 70s home, a giant shrimp swimming amongst koi, and a bee, discreetly dressed in heeled boots with wings blazoned in love hearts. Manufactured entirely in the UK and screen printed by Duchess China 1888, the mugs are an example of traditional British craftsmanship mixed with contemporary design from up-and-coming artist, Holly Ramsay.
Elsewhere in the collection, Holly’s showstopping designs cover six tea towels, a pair of oven gloves, and an apron. With prints named Funky Zebra, Leopard Abode, Koi Carp, Chic Shrimp, Bee Print and Sleek Safari, the range embodies the brand’s trademark mix of curiosity, charisma and crowd-pleasing cool.
